Job summary

ASSA ABLOY AB’s Global Solutions unit is seeking a Senior Mobile App Developer to lead native mobile apps and SDKs for Android and iOS, focusing on secure onboard access and digital experiences across marine customers.

You will drive architectural direction, collaborate with customers and stakeholders, mentor teammates, and deliver high-quality, reliable mobile solutions using Kotlin and Swift, with strong emphasis on usability and performance.

Build mobile technology that enables secure access across the global maritime industry.

At ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, technology plays a critical role in helping the maritime industry become safer, smarter, and more connected. As a Senior Mobile App Developer, you will help build the mobile app solutions that support onboard access control and digital access experiences used by customers worldwide.

This is a role for someone who wants to solve meaningful technical challenges, contribute to architectural direction, and work in an environment where quality, collaboration, and long‑term thinking genuinely matter.

The role

You will be the main driver of mobile applications and SDKs that support our Marine products and services. Working across Android and iOS, you will help translate customer and business needs into secure, reliable, and easy‑to‑use solutions.

Working closely with developers, product stakeholders, and customers, you will contribute throughout the development lifecycle — from technical discussions and architectural decisions through to delivery and continuous improvement. You will be trusted to bring ideas forward, share knowledge, and help shape the future direction of our mobile platforms.

What you will work on

• Deliver high‑quality mobile applications and SDKs for Android and iOS with a strong focus on usability, performance, and reliability.
• Build primarily in Kotlin and Swift, contributing to solutions that support secure onboard access and digital services.
• Shape architecture and technical direction by contributing to technology roadmaps and key engineering decisions.
• Collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate real‑world needs into effective solutions.
• Strengthen quality and delivery by supporting testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share knowledge across the team and help raise technical capability through collaboration and mentoring.

What will help you succeed

• Solid experience (5+ years) developing native mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Swift, alongside modern mobile development practices.
• Experience contributing to technical design, architecture discussions, and long‑term product development.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, React, Go, or Python is beneficial.
