Job summary

PHINIA Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain mechanical and mechatronic products for automotive applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept through implementation.

With a minimum of five years in mechanical design and strong Creo Parametric skills, you will design plastic and metal components for manufacturing

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric.
• Experience designing plastic and metal components for manufacturing.
• Knowledge of stamped, machined, milled, and turned components.
• Experience in automotive and mechatronic systems is desirable.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mechanical and mechatronic products for automotive applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Create and develop designs using Creo Parametric.
• Design components for manufacturing processes (injection molding, casting, stamping, milling, turning).
• Contribute to full product development lifecycle from concept to implementation.
• Take ownership of engineering tasks and ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support product development through technical analysis and optimization.
