Job summary

Preston Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of major mechanical packages for hyperscale data centre projects in Sweden. You will oversee HVac systems, chillers, piping and associated plant, coordinating subcontractors and site teams from construction through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale data centre M&E projects.
• Strong mechanical building services knowledge and subcontractor management.
• Ability to coordinate across construction, commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of mechanical packages across hyperscale data centre projects.
• Oversee HVAC systems, chillers, piping and mechanical plant installation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and site teams to meet milestones.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and cost forecasting for projects.
• Collaborate with Electrical, CSA and Commissioning teams for coordination.
• Review drawings, specs and installation methodologies.
• Identify risks, resolve technical challenges and ensure safety standards.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
