Job summary

Husqvarna's Pro Robotics R&D in Huskvarna seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team of design, electronics, software specialists.

You will own mechanical development from concept to production for professional robotic mowers and support existing products in manufacturing. On-site collaboration is valued.

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics and 5+ years' experience are preferred; Catia is a plus.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in product development.
• Strong personal leadership and the ability to drive assignments from start to finish.
• Genuine passion for technology and curiosity for exploring new technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience designing molded parts (meriting).
• Experience working with the CAD system Catia (an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical design from concept to production for robotic mowers.
• Support product maintenance for products already in manufacturing.
• Collaborate across Pro Robotics R&D and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrate personal leadership and accountability to deliver on plan.
