Job summary

KPMG Sweden is seeking a Senior Manager to lead client engagements from strategy to implementation, expanding the Procurement practice across Sweden and internationally. You'll guide large-scale transformation programs, design operating models, and drive value through digital and sustainable procurement.

You bring 8–12+ years' experience in management consulting or procurement, strong leadership, and a Master’s degree. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is highly desirable.

KPMG's Management Consulting practice is continuing its strong growth, and we are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Procurement team. This is an opportunity for an established consulting professional with deep procurement expertise and a proven track record of driving business growth, developing client relationships and leading complex transformation programs.

As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our Procurement offering, leading high-impact engagements, and helping some of the largest organizations in Sweden and internationally transform their procurement functions to become more efficient, digital, sustainable, and value-driven.

About the team

Our Procurement team consists of more than 20 professionals based in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We work with leading organizations across industries, helping them unlock value through procurement transformation, digital enablement, strategic sourcing, operating model design, and supplier management.

As part of KPMG's global network, you will collaborate with procurement specialists, industry experts, technology leaders, and our alliance partners around the world, bringing innovative solutions and leading practices to our clients.

The role

As a Senior Manager, you will lead client engagements from strategy through implementation, while also contributing to business development and the continued growth of our Procurement practice.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading large-scale procurement transformation programs
• Designing and implementing procurement operating models and target organizations
• Advising senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives and procurement leadership teams
• Driving digital procurement transformations, including AI-enabled procurement solutions and Source-to-Pay technologies
• Leading strategic sourcing and category management initiatives
• Supporting clients in supplier risk management, sustainability, resilience, and ESG-related procurement programs
• Identifying and realizing cost optimization and value creation opportunities
• Leading change management and business adoption activities
• Developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing consultants and managers within the team
• Contributing to thought leadership, market development, and sales activities

What you bring

We are looking for an experienced consulting professional who combines strong procurement expertise with leadership capabilities and commercial acumen.

You likely have:

• 8-12+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience from Management Consulting or a leading procurement organization
• A strong track record of delivering procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, operating model, or supply chain transformation engagements
• Experience advising senior executives and building trusted client relationships
• Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and managing multidisciplinary teams
• Experience driving digital procurement initiatives, including automation, analytics, AI, or Source-to-Pay solutions
• Strong business development and sales experience, including proposal development and client account management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• A Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Professional fluency in English; Swedish is highly desirable

Experience from leading consulting firms, international organizations, or complex procurement environments within industries such as manufacturing, industrials, retail, consumer goods, life sciences, energy, or telecommunications is highly valued.
