Swedbank AB is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Mainframe Infrastructure team. The role focuses on the management and improvement of one of the largest zOS environments in the Nordics, ensuring stability and performance of mission-critical systems.

What is needed in this role:

To succeed as an Infrastructure Engineer within the Mainframe z/OS Platform and Storage area, you need a broad technical understanding of the z/OS environment combined with a structured and responsible way of working. The role is critical to ensure stability, availability, and performance of business critical systems.

• Solid experience working with the IBM z/OS platform in a production environment
• Strong understanding of mainframe infrastructure, including CPU, memory, and I/O
• Experience with mainframe storage solutions (for example DASD, disk, and volume management)
• Knowledge of SMS (Storage Management Subsystem) and its components
• Experience in capacity planning and performance analysis
• Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
• Familiarity with z/OS system tools for monitoring and administration
