Job summary

Swedbank is seeking a seasoned Mainframe z/OS specialist to join its Infrastructure team. You will work on one of the Nordics' largest z/OS environments, tackling complex, mission-critical systems and expanding your technical expertise alongside highly skilled colleagues.

Bring strong experience with IBM z/OS, mainframe storage, SMS, and performance analysis to drive capacity planning and robust disaster recovery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM z/OS in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe CPU, memory and I/O management.
• Experience with DASD, disk and volume management.
• Familiarity with SMS and z/OS monitoring tools.
• Experience in capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Understanding backups, recovery, and DR in mainframe context.

Requirements

• Solid experience working with the IBM z/OS platform in a production environment
• Strong understanding of mainframe infrastructure, including CPU, memory, and I/O
• Experience with mainframe storage solutions (for example DASD, disk, and volume management)
• Knowledge of SMS (Storage Management Subsystem) and its components
• Experience in capacity planning and performance analysis
• Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
• Familiarity with z/OS system tools for monitoring and administration
