Job summary

Justera Group is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team rebuilding a fund trading platform for the Nordic market. You will design, build and test scalable backend services and microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot, integrate with REST APIs, Kafka and Microsoft SQL, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

The role involves collaboration with DevOps, Product Management and other developers, with a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with JUnit and Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of automated testing, including integration, API and regression testing.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on a business-critical fund trading platform. The team is rebuilding a solution for processing mutual fund orders across the Nordic market.

The role combines backend development, integrations, and a strong focus on automated testing and software quality. You’ll work closely with developers, DevOps and Product Management to build reliable, scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services, microservices and integrations
