Job summary

ForeFlight in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior Fullstack Java Developer with a strong backend focus to join their Tracking team. You will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs, while also contributing to frontend development, primarily using Java and Spring Boot in a cloud environment.

The role involves working with AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring production readiness, and collaborating on AI initiatives. Join a talented team in a dynamic environment that supports growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Solid senior-level experience in software development with Java.
• Experience in frontend development with Eclipse RCP, willing to work with Angular or React.
• Experience working in production environments on AWS.
• Experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes-based delivery pipelines.
• Good working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong experience with Linux including debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to frontend development using Eclipse RCP.
• Develop solutions in AWS and contribute to Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure production readiness through monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on AI-related initiatives and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
