We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on test development and quality engineering to join our Tracking team in Gothenburg. This developer role is passionate about building software and building confidence in software, working across the stack in backend and frontend development, and leading the strengthening of automated testing, quality practices, and engineering productivity.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain software solutions with Java and Spring Boot, with a strong emphasis on testability, quality, and maintainability
- Contribute to frontend development using Eclipse RCP, and work in an environment that also includes Angular or React
- Design, implement, and improve automated test strategies and test frameworks across backend and frontend layers
- Drive test development practices such as integration testing, API testing, end-to-end testing, and test automation in CI/CD flows
- Work with AWS-based systems and contribute to cloud-oriented development and quality practices
- Support and improve Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on enabling reliable and efficient testing in delivery flows
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to improve quality early in the development lifecycle
- Contribute to monitoring, troubleshooting, and production follow‑up to strengthen quality from development through operations
- Explore and support AI-related initiatives, for example using AI tools to improve testing workflows, productivity, and product capabilities
- Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation approximately one week every 6–8 weeks
What We Are Looking For
- Senior‑level software development experience with Java, preferably Spring Boot
- Strong interest and practical experience in test development, test automation, and quality engineering
- Experience in frontend development with Eclipse RCP, and willingness to work in an environment that also includes Angular or React
- Experience designing and maintaining automated tests at different levels, such as unit, integration, API, and end‑to‑end tests
- Experience working in production environments with AWS
- Understanding of modern CI/CD practices and awareness of Kubernetes‑based pipeline environments
- Good working knowledge of Python for scripting, tooling, or automation
- Strong Linux skills, including debugging and service troubleshooting
- A structured and proactive mindset, with a passion for improving both quality and developer efficiency
- Interest in AI and curiosity about how it can support product innovation and engineering workflows
It’s a plus if you also have
- Experience building internal test frameworks or test tooling
- Hands‑on exposure to Kubernetes, Helm, or troubleshooting containerized environments
- Experience with observability, production quality metrics, and reliability thinking
- Experience using AI tools in testing, development workflows, or quality analysis
- Experience in secure software development and quality practices in large or complex systems
