Job description

At Kodalink AB, we support forward-thinking companies in transforming their engineering capabilities through DevOps excellence, cloud-native platforms, embedded software development, and advanced diagnostics. Our consultants combine deep technical expertise with agile ways of working to deliver measurable value in each engagement. We help clients modernize cloud infrastructure, validate complex embedded systems, and build simulation-driven test environments. By focusing on scalable, reliable, future-ready systems, we enable organizations to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a global leader in connected vehicle services, based in Gothenburg.

Please note that we are not able to provide work sponsorship for this role. Candidates must already have valid work authorization in Sweden

Our client is a world‑leading innovator and operator in the connected car space, helping the automotive industry move into the digital society. Their platform connects millions of vehicles worldwide, and they’re looking for someone who wants to build services that last, not just services that work. The team works in a mob/pair programming setup with Java at its core and shares responsibility for stakeholder support and on‑call.

Who you are

You’re curious and thoughtful. You don’t just ask how a problem can be solved, but why you’d solve it that way, how to get there from the code as it looks today, and how to test it so it keeps working. You enjoy experimenting, sharing knowledge and finding solutions that stand the test of time.

Must have

• Microservices and serverless architecture
• AWS (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudFormation)
• Agile ways of working
• Enjoy pair and mob programming

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as code
• Spring Boot
• DevOps
