Job summary

Sitoo is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to join a fast-growing Unified Commerce Platform team. You will work hands-on in the iOS codebase, shipping features used by retailers worldwide while shaping architectural improvements for long-term success.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and engineers to deliver a world-class user experience, participate in code reviews, and mentor peers to raise the bar in quality and performance. This hybrid role is based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building and maintaining complex iOS apps in Swift.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or cross-platform approaches.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, system design, and design patterns.
• Product mindset with cross-functional collaboration to solve customer problems.
• Experience in an agile team with CI/CD and feature flags.
• Collaborative, quality-focused approach to teamwork and code.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS features in Swift, using modern frameworks.
• Improve performance, stability, and scalability while reducing tech debt.
• Contribute to architectural discussions with staff engineers and tech leads.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code aligned with product goals.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA and engineers to ship UX.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing.
• Help improve team processes and engineering practices.

Your mission at Sitoo

At Sitoo, we're building a modern retail platform with global ambitions - and we’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help shape that future.

In this role, you'll work hands-on in our iOS codebase, build features used by retailers across the world, and contribute to architectural improvements that set the foundation for long-term success. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design, and help level up your peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain features in our iOS app using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.


• Improve performance, stability, and scalability while reducing technical debt and modernizing our codebase.


• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical direction in partnership with Staff Engineers and Tech Leads.


• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code that supports our product and performance goals.


• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and other engineers to deliver a world-class user experience.


• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions.


• Contribute to team processes, engineering practices, and continuous improvement efforts.

What you'll bring to the table

This is a hybrid role based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. Please note that we are currently unable to offer relocation support for this position, so you’ll need to hold a permanent residence permit in Sweden.
