Job summary

Xensam Ltd. in Sweden seeks a Senior Integration Engineer to design and build integrations and automation that connect Xensam’s product, R&D, and business systems.

You will own integrations through architecture, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring security and scalability. You will work with APIs, identity solutions, SaaS platforms, and automation to cut manual work, improve data quality, and enable systems to work together reliably.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in integration engineering, backend development, automation, or a similar technical role.
• Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs, system integrations, and secure data flows across SaaS and internal platforms.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience with identity and access management, including OAuth, SSO, provisioning, API permissions, and application registrations.
• Experience working with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to design and build the integrations and automation solutions that connect Xensam’s product, R&D, and business systems.

In this role, you will work across teams to understand complex workflows and turn them into secure, scalable, and reliable technical solutions. You will take ownership of integrations throughout their lifecycle, from architecture and development to testing, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement.

You will work with APIs, identity and access solutions, SaaS platforms, automation, and event-driven workflows to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and enable systems to work better together. As a senior engineer, you will also help establish integration patterns and technical standards that ensure our solutions remain secure, maintainable, and scalable as Xensam grows.

Responsibilities

• Design secure and scalable integrations between Xensam’s product, R&D, and business systems.
• Analyze cross-functional workflows and translate business and technical requirements into reliable APIs, data flows, and integration solutions.
• Build, test, and maintain production-grade integrations and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Design and maintain identity and access integrations across Microsoft Entra ID and SaaS platforms, including provisioning, application registrations, OAuth, SSO, and access automation.
• Develop integrations with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and collaboration platforms, including secure API, email, and synchronization workflows.
• Build and improve automated workflows for lifecycle events, reporting, data synchronization, and other cross-system processes.
• Ensure integrations include appropriate testing, monitoring, logging, error handling, and security controls.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and increase reliability through integration and automation.
• Maintain architecture documentation, data-flow mappings, integration runbooks, and technical standards.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and other teams to continuously improve Xensam’s integration architecture and technical capabilities.

• Good understanding of integration security, authentication, authorization, testing, logging, and error handling.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business and technical requirements into reliable and maintainable solutions.
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical initiatives and collaborating across both technical and business teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
