Job summary

Veritaz AB, a leading IT staffing solutions provider in Sweden, seeks an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to develop, optimize, and support automation systems across manufacturing and logistics. You will verify, commission, and start up production lines and play a key role in ramp-up readiness.

You will troubleshoot complex control systems, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with production, engineering, suppliers, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial automation engineering.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and support industrial automation systems.
• Participate in verification, testing, commissioning, and production start-up activities.
• Support production ramp-up and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex automation and control system issues.
• Perform structured root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate technical activities between production, engineering, suppliers, and project teams.
• Support automated manufacturing, assembly, and logistics systems.
• Improve machine interfaces and industrial control solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in industrial investment and automation development projects.
• Support automation standards, best practices, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing and engineering.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within automation.
• Ensure automation solutions meet quality, safety, and operational requirements.
