Job summary

Spotify AB is seeking a Senior Partner Engineer based in Stockholm with a strong foundation in software engineering and hardware integration. You will build and lead partnerships with strategic hardware manufacturers, guiding technical integration projects from planning to launch and coordinating across internal teams.

You will work closely with engineering, product and external partners, driving architecture discussions and writing clear RFCs and design docs.

Qualifications

5+ years in software engineering, partner engineering, or similar technical roles.
Experience with software development, SDKs, APIs, distributed systems or embedded tech.
Able to read and contribute to production code and discuss architecture with engineers.
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering teams and external partners.
Experience with consumer electronics or hardware integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build trusted partnerships with strategic hardware manufacturers.
Lead technical integration projects from planning through launch for Spotify’s SDKs.
Collaborate with engineering, product and cross-functional teams to align priorities.
Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation planning.
Write technical proposals and design documentation for engineering teams.
Monitor project health and coordinate solutions across teams.
Investigate and resolve SDK, API and integration challenges.
Improve tools and developer experience for partners.
Contribute to the long-term evolution of Spotify’s hardware platform.
