Job summary

ALTEN Sweden seeks a Hardware Engineer to develop and integrate hardware for automotive display systems (TFT, OLED, LCD, HUD, touch panels). You will lead hardware projects from concept to production, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR.

You will manage suppliers, collaborate with software and mechanical teams, and validate hardware components to meet safety and functional requirements. The role is based in Sweden with opportunities to advance through ALTEN Academy and benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hardware engineering experience in automotive.
• Local Sweden-based automotive project experience.
• Proven hardware development for display systems (infotainment, instrument clusters, HUD).
• Experience in project management and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware solutions for automotive display systems (TFT, OLED, LCD, HUD, touch panels).
• Lead hardware projects from concept to production with ISO 26262/AUTOSAR compliance.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and quality targets.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and purchasing teams to integrate display systems into vehicle architectures.
• Test and validate hardware components to meet safety and functional requirements.
• Contribute to planning, risk assessment, and problem-solving for display hardware challenges.
