Job summary

Instabee Group AB is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and ship backend features that impact delivery efficiency across Sweden. You’ll modernize legacy services into scalable Go-based architecture and drive clean, maintainable code.

Collaborate with Product to turn tech work into KPI impact. You will mentor engineers and help shape a strong technical culture while owning end-to-end backend work in a hybrid, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Go experience in production environments.
• Designing and scaling distributed cloud APIs (GCP/AWS).
• Familiar with Kubernetes/Helm, Terraform, and SQL.
• Proactive in preventing incidents and improving reliability.
• Ability to give and receive feedback in a collaborative team.
• Care about how code lands in production and in customer routes.
• Bonus: experience modernizing legacy stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship backend features end-to-end.
• Modernize legacy Java/Node services into Go-based architecture.
• Set standards for clean, maintainable, documented code.
• Partner with Product to translate Tech into KPI impact.
• Lead incident response and implement long-term fixes.
• Mentor engineers and help shape technical culture.
