Job summary

TV4 is seeking a Sr Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus to help build the technical foundation behind Content Experience in TV4 Play and MTV Katsomo. You work across Go backend services, APIs, and frontend clients, delivering reliable systems at scale.

You will collaborate with product and design, own production quality, and drive architecture decisions while embracing AI tools in development. Based in Stockholm with modern tech stack and strong ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in backend development within production systems.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
• Comfort with cloud-based environments and modern practices.
• Strong understanding of system design, performance, reliability and observability.
• Ability to work across the stack when needed.
• Clear communication in a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools in development.
• Ability to learn new languages quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve backend services and APIs, with Go as the primary language for new development.
• Build technical solutions for discovery, navigation and content presentation.
• Integrate with services and platforms across TV4's technology organisation.
• Work with distributed systems where performance, availability and scalability matter.
• Take responsibility for what you build from implementation through production, observability and continued development.
• Work across the stack when the problem requires it and contribute to our React and TypeScript based clients.
• Drive technical initiatives and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.
• Use AI tools as a natural part of the development process.
