Job summary

TV4 Group is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus to help build the technical foundation behind Content Experience. You will design and evolve backend services in Go, while collaborating with frontend teams using React and TypeScript.

The role sits in Stockholm, with an office-first culture and opportunities to influence architecture and production-grade systems. You will explore AI tools in daily development and own the lifecycle from idea to production.

Qualifications

• Experienced fullstack engineer with backend focus and strong engineering judgement.
• Proven track record in API design, integrations and distributed systems.
• Comfortable in cloud-based environments and modern engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of system design, performance, reliability and observability.
• Able to work across the stack when needed (frontend too).
• Capable of balancing big-picture thinking with technical detail and tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication in a cross-functional product team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve backend services and APIs, with Go as the primary language for new development.
• Build technical solutions for discovery, navigation and content presentation.
• Integrate with services and platforms across TV4's technology organisation.
• Work with distributed systems where performance, availability and scalability matter.
• Take responsibility from implementation through production, observability and continued development.
• Contribute to our React and TypeScript based clients when required.
• Drive technical initiatives and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.
• Use AI tools as a natural part of the development process.
