Job summary

Sambla Sverige is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of LLM/GenAI products. You will design and evolve the architecture while working closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams.

The role requires strong backend engineering skills in TypeScript and/or Python, alongside deep practical experience with LLM ecosystems. If you have a passion for AI and a track record of delivering impactful products, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software and ML engineering, with 2–3 years working with LLM/GenAI systems.
• Proven success in shipping AI/ML powered features in production.
• Strong backend engineering skills in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture on AWS, ideally including Bedrock.
• Experience with RAG pipelines and evaluating LLM outputs.
• Familiarity with MLOps tooling and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own GenAI / LLM architecture and integrate into backend systems.
• Ensure AI products are safe, reliable, and cost-efficient.
• Build and maintain SDKs and libraries for faster feature shipping.
• Ship key AI features and mentor teams on best practices.
• Guide the AI roadmap and advise on capability gaps.
