Job summary

Avaron AB is seeking a Platform Architect to own the GCP roadmap and drive next-gen capabilities for a cloud-native setup. You will shape architectural direction by translating business needs into detailed designs and Jira stories, acting as the final code approver to uphold internal standards.

In this role you will manage Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and orchestration across Cloud Run, Cloud Functions and EventArc, while leveraging AI-assisted workflows to enhance

Qualifications

• Ability to design and architect GCP platform capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Python microservices.
• Review and approve code against engineering standards.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC for GCP networks and firewall policies.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of custom NPM package management.
• Knowledge of Cloud Run, Cloud Functions and EventArc.
• Translate business needs into architectural designs and Jira stories.
• Experience using AI-assisted workflows for PR reviews and governance.

Job Description

You will oversee GitHub Actions workflows, custom NPM packages, and event-driven orchestration with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and EventArc.

Requirements
