Benifex Limited, a fast-moving technology company, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to work across frontend, backend, and mobile experiences, supporting Benifex employee products and the mobile app. You will balance new development with maintenance, refactoring, and production reliability while embracing AI-assisted workflows.

The role emphasizes curiosity, ownership, and willingness to tackle complex problems, with a focus on building features and services for a global customer base.

• Solve problems across a broad technical domain spanning frontend, backend, mobile, and platform systems.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data flows using Java, Spring/Spring Boot and SQL.
• Integrate frontend experiences with reliable, well-designed APIs and platform services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver customer value.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, tooling, and ways of working.
• Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools thoughtfully as part of daily development, code exploration, testing, refactoring, and documentation.
• Share learnings with the team about where AI adds value and how to use these tools responsibly in a complex production codebase.

Role Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will work across frontend and backend areas that support Benifex employee experience products, and the mobile app. The team is responsible for operational continuity, technical stability, and continuous improvement, which means the work often involves balancing new development with careful maintenance, refactoring, and production reliability. One day you might be fixing an issue in a mobile app, another improving a frontend framework, and another investigating a backend service or platform integration. This role suits someone who enjoys complex domains, solving problems, learning new areas, and taking ownership regardless of where a challenge sits. Success in this role is less about being an expert in every technology and more about being curious, adaptable, and willing to get stuck in wherever the team needs support. You will contribute to frontend development in React, Angular, and TypeScript, while also helping build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and SQL. We value engineers who are proactive, pragmatic, and continuously learning. If you enjoy solving problems, taking ownership, and learning new things, we’d love to hear from you. We are also on a journey to use AI more deliberately in our daily engineering work. We are looking for someone who has practical experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, or who wants to keep exploring how these tools can help us move faster, improve quality, understand complex codebases, and reduce repetitive work without lowering our engineering standards.

• Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools thoughtfully as part of daily development, code exploration, testing, refactoring, and documentation.
• Share learnings with the team about where AI adds value and how to use these tools responsibly in a complex production codebase while applying sound engineering judgement.
