Job summary

markley Konsult AB in Gothenburg seeks an experienced Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join the engineering team and build modern, scalable AI‑enabled digital products. You will work across the full stack from backend services to cloud infrastructure, data integrations, and AI‑powered features.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, build AI‑enabled workflows, and integrate OpenAI/Claude/Gemini APIs.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience as a Full‑Stack Engineer or similar role.
• Strong backend development with Java and Spring Boot, Python or equivalent.
• Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing REST APIs and integrating third‑party systems.
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
• Experience with Docker and cloud deployment on major platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications and enterprise platforms.
• Build backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot and Python/FastAPI.
• Develop modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Integrate REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and third‑party APIs.
• Build and maintain distributed microservices and event‑driven architectures.
• Develop cloud‑native applications and work with relational, NoSQL, and caching databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability tooling.
