Job summary

NKT is seeking a Senior Finance Controller in Karlskrona or Malmö to lead project accounting and reporting, focusing on IFRS, Swedish GAAP and POC. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams across an international organization, using SAP and digital tools to enhance month-end processes.

Based in Karlskrona, the role involves close interaction with local and international finance teams, auditors, and project teams, with travel opportunities discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of IFRS and Swedish local GAAP.
Experience with IFRS 15 and POC accounting.
Hands-on SAP experience.
Background in manufacturing or project-based accounting.
Fluent in Swedish with ability to communicate in an international setting.

Responsibilities

Manage financial reporting under IFRS and Swedish local GAAP
Coordinate statutory and external audits from planning to closure
Review POC accounting, project margins, provisions and Estimate-at-Completion assumptions
Validate closing entries, reconciliations, inventory movements and manufacturing transactions
Improve SAP accounting processes, controls and digital month-end reporting
