Job summary

Hitachi Energy, Ludvika is looking for an experienced EMC professional to join our HVDC unit. In this role, you will ensure design integrity during high voltage applications while working alongside a diverse team. Candidates should hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields and have a strong passion for technology.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a Master of Science degree in an electrical field, applied physics, power systems or similar.
• Experienced professional with several years in the EMC field.
• You have a keen interest in or understanding of mechanical aspects as well as electrical design.
• Experience in design of auxiliary power systems in HVDC or substation environment.
• A positive, problem-solving individual with team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper design and controlled performance in EMC.
• Continuous improvement of guidelines and processes related to your area.
• Perform inspections to ensure proper installations at sites internationally.
• Be part of R&D activities to ensure competitiveness.
