Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ludvika seeks an EMC engineer to strengthen the EMC domain in a high voltage, high current environment. You will help ensure performance during fast transients and safety in multi-physics projects.

You will collaborate with RF, grounding, and EM field specialists in an international setting, contributing to tender and R&D work while growing your technical scope in HVDC systems.

Qualifications

Master of Science in electrical field or related discipline.
Experience with EMC standards, mitigations and shielding concepts.
Interest in mechanical and electrical design.
Experience with auxiliary power systems in HVDC or substations.
Strong teamwork and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

Improve guidelines and processes in EMC area.
Document EMC requirements in tenders, projects, and R&D.
Perform inspections for proper installations across sites.
Collaborate with RF emission, grounding, and EM field specialists.
Contribute to multi-physics R&D activities to stay competitive.
