Job summary

Axis Communications AB in Lund seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer to drive hardware development from concept to volume production. You will participate in roadmap planning, lead pre-study, prototyping and testing, and design intercom hardware with a focus on cost, quality and performance.

Join a collaborative team of hardware and software engineers, contributing to world-class intercom products in a hybrid Lund-based role.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience developing hardware from concept through production.
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence technical decisions with stakeholders.
Self-driven with ownership and proven problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English; basic Swedish.
Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Take part in roadmap planning, driving future technology choices.
Lead early pre-study, prototyping and debugging activities.
Design intercom hardware, including schematics, components, BOM, focusing on quality and manufacturability.
Provide technical leadership with design reviews and thorough documentation.
Plan testing and verification to meet functional and regulatory requirements.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with software, mechanics, and test teams to deliver integrated solutions and milestones.
