Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking two Electrical Engineers to join a site-based team in Eskilstuna, Sweden. You will design, develop and install electrical systems for turnkey data centre projects and coordinate with sub-contractors to meet project schedules.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years in mechanical/electrical contracting, and data centre experience is a bonus. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with MS Word and Excel proficiency

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical qualification essential, e.g., Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3+ years of previous experience in a similar role within mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word & Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System.
• Manage, review and coordinate drawings, as requested.
• Advise and guide subcontracted staff on technical aspects of the project.
• Prioritize and allocate work for staff on the technical team.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with site and project requirements, including health and safety obligations.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and apply corrective actions.
• Manage document control to keep logs up to date.
• Create handover packs and test packs for systems.
• Review health & safety issues on site and ensure safe practices by Sub Contractors.
• Review ways of working and implement changes to improve safety.
• Ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contractors.
