Truecaller is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact initiatives at the intersection of data science, product, and engineering. You will apply ML, statistics, and data engineering to solve meaningful problems with strong cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

You will mentor junior to senior data scientists, shaping production-ready models and data products that improve user safety, trust, and experience across millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, ML, CS, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• At least 5 years using data science and ML to solve real-world problems.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of Python tooling: IDEs, unit testing, static checks.
• Excellent communication and ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Explore problem spaces and craft data science solutions that improve customer experience.
• Plan data science work with emphasis on cross-team collaboration.
• Gather and understand data to build data science products for customers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build data science products at scale.
