Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Lund to join a cross-functional data engineering team building scalable, reliable data solutions that support engineering teams across the product lifecycle. You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, implement data quality controls, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to drive data-driven insights.

Strong Python and SQL skills and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform development.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, telemetry data, event-driven systems, or large-scale datasets.
• Experience with data modeling, orchestration, and pipeline monitoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines
