Job summary

The Ripple Effect is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Stockholm to design and maintain production-grade data pipelines using Python and dbt. You’ll collaborate with clients to translate business needs into reliable data assets.

You’ll implement orchestration with Airflow or similar, ensure data quality with CI/CD and testing, and optimize warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake. Fluency in English required; Sweden-specific language is not needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, with consulting or client-facing project work.
• Proficient Python engineer writing clean, tested code (pytest, proper dependency management).
• Experience building production data pipelines and orchestration.
• Fluent English; Swedish is not required.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade data pipelines in Python, orchestrated to recover gracefully when upstream issues occur.
• Use dbt to create clean, tested, version-controlled data models for analysts and applications.
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing and data quality monitoring to surface problems early.
