Job summary

Fountain seeks a data/analytics engineer to design and own the agentic buildout for our data team and product integration. You will shape the development workflow, ensure robust evaluation, and enable analytics that empower non-technical stakeholders across sales, finance, product, and support.

Ideal candidates bring deep SQL, dbt, Dagster, and Python skills, plus experience with agentic/LLM-powered systems. This global role offers flexibility and international collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering, or equivalent depth.
• (must-have) deep analytical data modeling and SQL skills.
• Hands-on production experience with dbt and an orchestrator (Dagster preferred).
• Strong Python and software engineering habits (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Experience shipping agentic or LLM-powered systems to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the agentic development workflow for the data team.
• Push that reach upstream into the product and verify data architecture during development.
• Build the evaluation layer with regression suites, correctness checks, and observability.
• Develop agentic analytics capabilities for semantic context and access controls.
• Drive adoption across GTM, Finance, Product, and Support; teach patterns and close gaps.
• Stay hands-on in the platform and fix issues when needed.
