Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Sweden is seeking a Senior Data Center Day Technician to perform preventive maintenance, complex repairs, and technical troubleshooting across a large data center. You will act as a senior technical resource, mentoring technicians and coordinating operational activities on site.

As HVAP-authorised when appointed, you will ensure safe high-voltage operations and compliance with procedures, while coordinating with contractors and clients to maintain

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or apprenticeship in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years’ experience in data centers or critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, gens, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
• HVAP certification preferred or able to obtain.
• Experience guiding technicians and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site maintenance log in CMMS.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical systems.
• Coordinate and mentor Shift Technicians.
• Review switching, permit, and isolation activities as HVAP Authorising Technician.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and security rules.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents.
• Communicate with clients and site teams.
• Identify improvements to maintenance programs and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting.
