Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant work experience in management consulting.
• Degrees in Engineering, Business, or Economics preferred.
• Fluency in English required.

• Lead complex workstreams and drive research and analysis forward.
• Help structure the project approach, objective, and implementation plan in partnership with the partner-in-charge.
• Keep engagements on track through strong schedule management and progress updates.
• Shape recommendations and final deliverables that clients can act on.
• Play an active role in follow-on work that strengthens and grows client relationships.
• Contribute to the sales process, including identifying extension opportunities and generating net new business development leads.

What the Senior Consultant role looks like

The Senior Consultant has a high level of responsibility within Applied Value project teams, including day-to-day project management as well as client and account management.

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex workstreams and drive research and analysis forward.
• Help structure the project approach, objective, and implementation plan in partnership with the partner-in-charge.
• Keep engagements on track through strong schedule management and progress updates.
• Shape recommendations and final deliverables that clients can act on.
• Play an active role in follow-on work that strengthens and grows client relationships.
• Contribute to the sales process, including identifying extension opportunities and generating net new business development leads.

We are looking for someone who:

• Reaches their own conclusions while continuing to learn from the people around them.
• Delivers on time and does not need to be managed closely to do it well.
• Can make sound decisions in a fairly unstructured environment.
• Brings leadership, strong business and financial judgment, commercial instinct, and a willingness to travel when projects require it.
• Is driven, flexible, and comfortable taking ownership in front of both clients and internal senior leadership.
• Experience in a start-up, general management, engineering, sales, or marketing is a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience within management consulting.
• Degrees in Engineering, Business, or Economics are preferred, but not required.
• Fluency in English is required.
