Job summary

Flightradar24 is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and manage resilient cloud infrastructure in Stockholm. You will collaborate with developers to streamline CI/CD, ensure high availability, security, and performance across AWS services, and drive observability and platform improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of production experience, strong IaC, and proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production systems.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM) and cloud security best practices.
• Ability to design, implement and manage infrastructure with IaC principles.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability tooling.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage reliable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Work closely with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment speed and stability.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance across our AWS services.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve observability and resilience.
• Own database infrastructure, incl. provisioning, migrations, backups, replication, performance tuning.
• Build and operate an internal developer platform that provides reproducible environments.
