Job summary

Odevo AB is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve secure, scalable cloud-native platforms based on Microsoft Azure and AKS. The role blends hands-on engineering with platform architecture and technical leadership to deliver standardized infrastructure and self-service capabilities for development teams.

• Strong analytical and architectural skills with the ability to evaluate requirements and run proofs of concept.
• Technical leadership to balance developer experience with security and governance needs.
• Clear, proactive communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategies, roadmaps, and architectural standards translating requirements into scalable platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of shared platforms.
• Design and manage Azure infrastructure including AKS, networking, registries, identity, secrets, backups, and PostgreSQL using IaC and pipelines.
• Design and operate GitOps-based delivery models and platform services.
• Create secure authentication models, RBAC, and governance with least-privilege isolation.
• Support software supply-chain security with image signing and controlled deployment pipelines.
• Develop self-service onboarding and provisioning with idempotent automation and validation.
• Develop observability and platform-health monitoring, alerts, capacity management, autoscaling, reliability, and incident follow-up.
• Create proofs of concept and evaluate new technologies to set standards and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to support integration, migration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, decision records, configuration standards, guides, operator handbooks, and user docs.
