Job summary

Etteplan is seeking a communicative calculation engineer for our Gothenburg office. You will join the Engineering Analysis division, contributing to technical calculations, strength analysis, NVH, and crash simulations for diverse projects across industries.

You should hold a degree in engineering and have 5+ years of experience with CAE tools such as Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, and LS-Dyna; Swedish citizenship may be required for certain roles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in calculations/strength analysis, NVH or crash simulations.
• Proficient with CAE tools: Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, LS-Dyna.
• Degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, technical physics), licentiate or Ph.D.

We are looking for a communicative calculation engineer for our office in Gothenburg. As a Calculation Engineer at Etteplan, you will belong to the Engineering Analysis division, the Nordic region's leading provider of technical calculations. You will work closely with our customers and be an important puzzle piece in their challenges. The work is mostly done in our large and pleasant in-house operations and sometimes at our customers' sites. We have a very broad customer base from many different industries, offering a highly developmental and stimulating work environment with varied tasks. We regularly collaborate with colleagues in Solna and Linköping/Norrköping. You will join the team along the west coast, enjoying the best of two worlds: a moderately sized office with a great team spirit and a large company backing you with established customer contacts and opportunities for training to build your competence.

• 5+ years of experience in calculations/strength analysis, NVH, or crash simulations.
• Experience with CAE tools such as Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, LS-Dyna.
• Experience from energy, defense, or automotive industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Role may require security clearance based on current security protection rules, and Swedish citizenship is required for security clearance roles.
