Etteplan is seeking a Calculations Engineer in Östergötland, based in Linköping. The role focuses on advanced CAE analyses in fluid mechanics and heat transfer for high‑level projects across energy, defense, automotive, and manufacturing sectors.

As a Calculations Engineer at Etteplan, you will join one of the most established and technically skilled teams in the Nordics within advanced technical calculations, working on high‑level projects with great development opportunities. We are now strengthening our team in Östergötland with engineers in fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Much of the work is conducted in-house for our clients, with opportunities for assignments across Östergötland. You will work closely with colleagues in Gothenburg and Stockholm and be part of a larger national network. The position is based in Linköping.

You will have the chance to work on projects with high technical levels in energy, defense, automotive, and advanced manufacturing industries, gaining access to Etteplan’s network of engineers and further developing your skills.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering or doctoral degree (mechanical engineering, technical physics or similar)
• At least 2 years of experience in advanced CAE analyses in fluid mechanics or heat transfer
• Experience with ANSYS Fluent or CFX, StarCCM, OpenFoam or similar software
• Good ability to communicate complex technology clearly in Swedish and English
