Job summary

Mastercam Sweden seeks an Applications Engineer III to provide advanced CAD/CAM application engineering support across the region. The role includes pre-sales demonstrations, technical solutions, and training to customers and partners, interfacing with resellers and the sales team to meet customer needs.

The candidate will travel up to 50% and collaborate with the technical team to resolve CNC programming and metrology challenges, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming, manufacturing, or applications engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software is required.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes is highly preferred.
• Strong metrology background is desirable.
• Membership in a professional engineering body (chartered status) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for current and prospective customers; pre-sales support and technical information for quotations.
• Manage the customer technical support experience from activation to delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Act as technical liaison between Mastercam Sweden, resellers, partners and customers to address inquiries.
• Deliver customer training and update CRM with project and customer details as needed.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to support on-site engagements.
