About this opportunity

In Getinge Digital Solutions we work with connectivity and remote services, modernizing how medical devices can be used. The team works with embedded software (C++20), creating and maintaining connectivity applications close to medical devices to facilitate remote services.

We aspire to be modern and agile in our approach to software development using SCRUM, CI/CD pipelines, and modern ways of coding.

Our team is diverse and consist of both developers and testers located in Solna (Sweden), and Bengaluru (India), with good communication across the borders. We are one team!

What you will do

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop and maintain embedded software together with the team as well as software interfaces towards other system parts. You will also help foster a constructive and learning environment for other members of the team.

Examples of what you will do in your daily work:

  • Design and develop embedded C++ code on application layer
  • Take responsibility of CI/CD pipelines and development environment together with the team
  • Be part of making decisions about and releasing the team’s products
  • Take shared responsibility of the team’s test tools (E.g. in house developed test tool in Go (Golang))
  • Contribute to good collaborative environment with other teams

This position is based in Solna, Stockholm and offers a hybrid setup (3 office days, 2 remote days). Travelling is not expected in this position.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.

  • University education or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience of C++ and embedded software
  • Experience in working with C++ threads and Yocto
  • Solid understanding with software design
  • Experience with Git
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, orally and written
Valued qualifications but not required
  • Experience with Go (Golang)
  • Experience with MQTT
  • Experience with Google Protocol Buffers
  • Modern C++ (17/20/23)
