Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Senior C++/iOS Engineer to join the Baldur squad within User Platform. You will design and build secure delegated authorization and session management infrastructure used across Spotify clients and partner integrations.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship secure, scalable authentication experiences, while balancing performance and reliability across mobile and desktop platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ and native iOS development with Swift.
• Experience with security-sensitive systems such as authorization and token management.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and secure storage practices.
• Experience designing cross-platform software and shared codebases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with autonomous squads to design, build, and evolve auth and session management platforms.
• Develop secure token issuance, refresh, revocation, and lifecycle flows.
• Integrate with core authorization services alongside client and backend teams.
• Ensure secure credential storage and efficient on-device performance.
• Share knowledge and shape the long-term technical direction.
