Job summary

Sandvik seeks a Finance Controller to transform global sales and service data into strategic insights. You will analyze performance, forecast and budget, and partner with Sales and Service leaders to drive transparency and informed decision-making.

You’ll report to the Director of Business Control and collaborate across regions, ensuring strong internal controls and governance in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in business control focusing on sales, service, aftermarket, or commercial operations.
• University degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance follow-up in a global matrix organization.
• Experience analyzing financial and operational drivers across regions in an international business environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on global sales and service performance, including orders, revenues, margins, costs, and key business drivers.
• Support forecasting, target-setting, budgeting activities, and scenario analysis.
• Provide financial insights and decision support to Sales and Service management, stakeholders, and the Director of Business Control.
• Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and business analysis that strengthen transparency and business understanding.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, data quality, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal frameworks and applicable regulations.

About The Job

You support global sales and service activities through financial analysis, performance management, forecasting, and business partnering. Your work drives transparency in commercial performance, supports decision‑making across regions, and contributes to the continuous improvement of financial processes and governance. You report to the Director of Business Control.

Job Responsibilities

Location

The position is preferably based in Svedala, Sweden. Global collaboration and occasional travel may be required.

Your profile

You bring solid experience within business control, financial planning and analysis, or commercial controlling. A strong understanding of sales and service business models helps you connect financial performance with business outcomes and provide valuable decision support.

Your background includes

• Experience in business control with a focus on sales, service, aftermarket, or commercial operations.
• A university degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance follow‑up in a global matrix organization.
• Experience analyzing financial and operational drivers across regions in an international business environment.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to explain financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
