Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Responsible Engineer to join an innovative team developing next-generation braking systems and software solutions for future mobility platforms.

You will lead software-related activities, coordinate releases, and act as the main interface with suppliers, contributing to safety-critical software and V&V efforts across projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software development and software-related engineering activities.
• Strong understanding of complex software systems and embedded software development.
• Experience coordinating software releases and working with suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your software expertise to oversee and manage software-related activities and development projects.
• Verify functionality in vehicles, test rigs, and laboratory environments, both independently and as part of a team.
• Coordinate and execute software releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Act as the primary interface between internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships, including Software Requirement Specification (SWRS) activities.
• Develop and maintain software release plans while coordinating verification and validation (V&V) activities.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review and support supplier documentation and technical deliverables.
• Contribute to aftermarket support and continuous quality improvements.
