BC Platforms is seeking a Senior Biostatistician to shape study design for clinical trials and observational studies. You will apply advanced statistical techniques, work with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver robust analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection of study designs and statistical methods
  • Deliver analyses including regression, survival, and indirect treatment comparisons
  • Draft protocols, SAPs, and reports
  • Advise on data exploration and interpretation of results
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop solutions
  • Support proposal development and new business opportunities
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to strengthen the analytics capability
  • Contribute to scientific outputs (reports, presentations, publications)
  • Maintain best practices, processes, and quality standards

What You Will Do

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in generating high-quality evidence and delivering impactful analytical insights across a range of projects. As a Senior Biostatistician, you will shape study design for clinical trials and observational studies, apply advanced statistical techniques, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver robust, meaningful analyses. You'll also contribute to developing others, share your expertise, and help continuously strengthen our analytical capability.

  • Leading the selection of appropriate study designs and statistical methods
  • Delivering complex analyses, including regression, survival (time-to-event), and indirect treatment comparisons
  • Drafting and reviewing key study documents (e.g. protocols, statistical analysis plans, reports)
  • Advising on data exploration, analytical techniques, and interpretation of results
  • Managing multiple projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to develop solutions and drive outcomes
  • Supporting proposal development and contributing to new business opportunities
  • Mentoring and coaching colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Contributing to scientific outputs, including reports, presentations, and publications
  • Maintaining and promoting best practices, processes, and quality standards
Your team will include
  • Experienced Biostatisticians and Epidemiologists

Take the lead as the SME on a number of our key customer projects

Expand, coach and upskill your team to support more of our customers on their data and submission journeys.

What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • Strong statistical expertise with experience applying a range of analytical methods (e.g. regression, survival analysis, indirect comparisons)
  • Experience contributing to research design and statistical analysis plans
  • Experience working on analyses relevant to health technology assessment (HTA) and/or healthcare decision-making
  • Proficiency in data cleaning, processing, and statistical analysis using R & SAS
  • At least 5 years experience in Pharma, CRO or similar business.
