Job summary

RED Global in Sweden is seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer / Data Engineer to modernise a Microsoft-based data platform. This onsite role handles SQL development, data warehousing, ETL/ELT and BI reporting, working with the Microsoft stack.

The candidate will own end-to-end data solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to platform evolution, testing and documentation in an agile environment. Swedish language fluency is required.

Qualifications

• At least seven years in software development, data engineering or a comparable technical role.
• At least five years of SQL database development, including stored procedures and performance optimisation.
• Proven delivery of data warehouse and ETL/ELT solutions across at least two assignments.
• Strong analytical data modelling skills.
• Experience with Python, C#, .NET or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Git, Azure DevOps or similar version-control and development tools.
• Experience independently delivering solutions within agile teams.
• Very good spoken and written Swedish.
