Job summary

iFindTech Ltd in Stockholm is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, build and operate scalable backend services. You will work with Go, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure to create reliable, high-performance systems used by many users.

Want to build high-performance backend systems that operate at scale, solve complex engineering challenges and support products used by large numbers of people?

We're working with an established, product-focused technology company in Stockholm looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join its engineering organisation. You'll design, develop and operate scalable backend services, working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and modern engineering technologies. This is a hands‑on position combining software development with production operations, where reliability, performance and technical ownership are essential.

Must Haves

Strong commercial backend engineering experience with Go (Golang).

Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.

Proven experience designing, building and operating distributed systems in production.

Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture, reliability and performance.

Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising production services.

Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.

Experience taking ownership of backend services throughout their development and operational lifecycle.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers.

Nice to Haves

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.

Knowledge of managed Kubernetes services such as GKE.

Experience with cloud‑native databases, data processing or storage solutions.

Familiarity with BigQuery, Cloud Spanner or Cloud Storage.

Experience with load testing, performance optimisation and high‑traffic systems.

Knowledge of build automation, developer tooling or technologies such as Bazel.

Some frontend or web development experience.

Experience working on real‑time, high‑availability or consumer‑facing platforms.
