Job summary

TECHLA, a Gothenburg-based consultancy, seeks experienced Backend Developers to join our client-facing teams. You will build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot and Python, while shaping scalable cloud-native architectures on AWS or Azure.

Join a DevOps-oriented team responsible for end-to-end service lifecycle, from development to deployment, monitoring and continual improvement. Experience with REST APIs, Kubernetes and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience building customer-facing systems.
• BSc/MSc in Engineering, IT or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining backend services in Java, Spring Boot and/or Python.
• Designing scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure.
• Building REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Working with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• CI/CD, automation, monitoring and logging.
• Participating in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions.
