Job summary

Techster in Göteborg, Sweden, is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer to blend software development with cloud operations for connected vehicle services. You will work in a hands-on team, shaping deployment, monitoring, and production support across the full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, QA and other stakeholders to drive reliability, observability and automation while owning end-to-end incidents and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Hands-on DevOps with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong emphasis on monitoring, observability and incident response.
• Experience with containerized cloud-native environments (Kubernetes).
• Familiar with Git workflows and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in a cloud-native environment.
• Take an active role in operating services in production and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and participate in incident investigations.
• Improve observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• Automate operational tasks and improve deployment processes.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and implement preventive actions.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA and other stakeholders to continuously improve the service.
• Take ownership of problems end-to-end and drive them to resolution.
