The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer at Safello, you will be a key contributor to our development team, building and scaling the APIs powering our mobile and web applications. You’ll write well‑tested, high‑performance code and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will also guide architectural decisions that enhance the reliability and scalability of our backend systems.

About You

• 9+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, ideally with Java Spring Boot
• Skilled in SQL, AWS setup and cloud infrastructure
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines as a core part of your workflow
• Familiar with microservice infrastructure and design patterns
• Experienced in building high‑transaction, high‑availability systems
• Able to write clean, testable code and conduct effective code reviewsStrong problem solver who can troubleshoot and optimize existing services
• Team‑first mindset, excellent communication skills, and a drive to innovate
