We are looking for an ambitiousSenior Backend Developer to join our growing team.

NB! Please note that this role is on-site in Solna, Sweden. No relocation support or visa sponsorship is provided.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain backend logic and server APIs used by our frontend applications
• Work with a modern tech stack including event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka) and reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)
• Build reusable code and common libraries for future use
• Collaborate closely with the backend team to continuously improve quality and performance
• Participate in and contribute to technical discussions and solution design

You will be successful in this role if you:

• Have strong experience with Java 17+, Spring, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Have previous experience working with databases and deployment procedures
• Have a solid understanding of web application security (OWASP, OAuth2)
• Have a good grasp of how technologies fit together in a larger ecosystem
• Have hands-on experience in production environments serving real users
• Can work independently on well-defined tasks and suggest technical improvements
• Have strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Have fluent written and spoken English

It’s a plus if you also have:

• Experience integrating with third-party providers such as payment or game providers
• Experience working with AWS or GCP services
